This year’s ASI Convention focuses on the theme “A Cause Worth Living For” where we will explore how the Adventist message is relevant to people driven by related causes such as Public Health, Environment, Animal Rights, Creation, etc.
“Are you committed or just involved?” is a challenge to our faith community to more faithful action as we see people to going all out to further the causes they believe in.
Our main guest speakers and seminar holders bring a wealth of knowledge and experience from their fields of study and practice. If you are a professional and / or young person desiring to serve Christ in your marketplace and want to invest in educating yourself to be an intelligent disciple of Christ, then this Convention is for you!

Community outreach is an integral part of and ASI Convention, and this year is no different. We’ll be reaching the people through a healing ministry, like Jesus did, by organising a LifeStyleEXPO in a local mall. Prepare to be blessed as you give massages, take blood pressure, monitor heart rates, measure lung capacities and a whole lot more! There’s something everyone can do, and training will be given.
Do you want to be part of a Christian orchestra? Norwegian conductor Markus Dunseth will be leading the practices and the orchestra will play Sabbath morning and the New Year’s Eve program. Please indicate on your registration form that you want to be part of the orchestra, the instrument(s) you play, and to what level. Spaces are limited.
“The orchestra will of course be a social fellowship where we all do something we like, and create music together. We will be able to use the talents and skills we have received and developed and together be able to bring joy to ourselves, each other and others at the Convention. I also hope that this will help inspire people to use and further develop their musical talents in the church / community where they come from.” Markus Dunseth
They say it’s not what you know, but who you know! That’s often true, so what would it mean to you to meet someone at ASI who could help you open opportunities and possibilities that could change the rest of your life? Would you get the same connections watching some of the meetings on TV?
There will be opportunities to connect with speakers and attendees throughout the Convention.
New Year’s program
This is one of the highlights of the Convention, where there is a variety of inspiration, music, social activities, commitment and of course some good vegan food.
There will be children’s meetings organised by Esther Femsteinevik during the seminars, for two groups of children: Ages 0-6 and 7-11 years. The theme will be Daniel 1-6, with songs, Bible stories, illustrations and activities that have been enjoyed in Norway!
