Cuisine Estelle

Estelle grew up in France in a family that operated vegetarian restaurants (Country Life) in Paris and Marseille. Coming to Norway she conducted some vegetarian cooking courses and through that realised that French cooking was a good way to reach Norwegians with healthy food. After having started off as a branch of the Granheim Foundation she established her own vegetarian catering business, Cuisine d’Estelle, in 2012 in the countryside of Trømborg, Mysen, offering baked goods and take-away meals as well as catering for private events. Since then Estelle’s vision has grown and in 2020 she expanded by opening a café, an initiative that has been very well received in the community. Estelle’s vision is that the venue can be a center of influence in the community, with several positive activities beyond the café.
